Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad has two undergraduate four-year BA (honours) programmes in Hotel Management as well as Culinary Arts. Admission to these courses is through four-step process, with Group Discussion and Personal Interview being the primary means of admission. The college offers the unique opportunity for two years of the course to be pursued at its partner university (University of Huddersfield) in the UK.
To be considered eligible for the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) at IHM Aurangabad, students have to pass Class 12 in any stream from any recognized board in India, with English being the primary medium of instruction. Candidates in their final year of study may also apply.
The admission process for IHM Aurangabad is as follows:
Stage 1: Online Registration:
Candidates must apply through the official website. Candidates must fill the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee.
Stage 2: Online Profiling Test:
After the submission of Application, Candidates will soon receive a link on the registered email id for completing an online profile test. The test is aimed to judge the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates more deeply. An assessment report will be provided on the basis of answers given.
Stage 3: Statement of Purpose
After the profiling test, Candidates also need to write a Statement of Purpose (SOP) of about 1,500 words. The statement of purpose needs to be on the topic: "perspective on the role this education at IHM-A would play in shaping my future by creating a vibrant personality who would succeed in the hospitality world".
Stage 4: GD and PI
After the stage 3, candidates will be asked to appear for a Group Discussion (GD), followed by a personal interview (PI). Candidates must carry their assessment report generated through the Profile Test to their GD and PI round.

Important Note: IHM Aurangabad offers courses according to the validation by University of Huddersfield, UK. The students will have the option to pursue their 3rd and 4th year of study in the UK from University of Huddersfield.
Program Fee: The total program fee (four years) is INR 15.60L (including accommodation charges). There is a separate university fee of INR 60,000/- each year. The applications are open in August every year.
