Selection Process

The selection process is divided into two rounds:

Stage 1:

– Entrance Test

Apart from the Entrance Test (ET), Class XIIth marks would also be considered for admission into BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) program of St. Xavier’s.

The weightage assigned for the final consideration for Stage 1 is as follows:

Entrance Test (60% weightage)

Class XIIth Marks (40% weightage)

If the candidate fulfills the required cut-off, they will be called for Stage 2.

Stage 2:

– Interview-cum-written test

The weightage assigned for the final Merit List (Stage 1 and Stage 2) is as follows:

Stage 1 (30% weightage)

The St. Xavier’s Mumbai–Entrance Test is a computer-based test. It consists of five sections

Fee Structure

Registration fee:

The registration fee for the St. Xavier’s Mumbai–Entrance Test (ET) is INR 3,000. For SC/ST, it is INR 1,000.

Fee Concession:

There is also an option for fee concession to candidates belonging to reserved category under the provisions of Maharashtra Government (Freeship) or Government of India (Scholarship).

  • SC students: AFI > Rs. 2 lakh p.a. (Freeship)

NT / VJ / SBC / ST and OBC categories students are required to submit the Non-Creamy-Layer Certificate for claiming fee concessions.

Note: The candidates who become eligible for either freeship or scholarship scheme are required to pay (along with the exam fees) a nominal fee of Rs. 445 (for FY & SY) and Rs. 795 (for TY) only.
